Baltic Alliance for Asian Studies (BAAS) 6th conference 2024 - Call for Abstracts

Baltic Alliance for Asian Studies (BAAS) 6th conference takes place between 23–26 MAY 2024 at the University of Latvia. 

Conference on the dialogue of Asian civilisations, which have experienced intense transformations, evaluating their ancient traditions along with Western influences from a new angle and offering universally relevant ideas based on the Asian heritage in times of accelerated globalisation. As the organisers emphasis, this event aims to bring together scholars, researchers, and experts from diverse fields to explore the possibilities for the further evolution of the world from the perspective of the strategies proposed by Asian countries.

Conference highlights

    Delve into the rich tapestry of heritage across Asia, examining the historical roots and contemporary manifestations of various cultures that have become extremely active co-creators of the present-day world.
